Yes, you may change the registrar sponsoring your domain name at any time more than sixty days after initial registration. For details on the transfer process, contact the registrar you would like to assume sponsorship of the registration. | |

I need an authorization code from ehostpros before I can switch. This doesn't tell me how to get an authorization code.

Since I just did it and figured all this out, I'll chime in...
1. Go to http://www.fastwebhost.com/ and log into the client area.
2. Click "My Domains"
3. Next to your domain, click "View Details"
4. Uncheck "Registrar Lock" and hit "Save Changes"
5. Click "Contact Information" at the bottom.
6. IMPORTANT! Change the email address in all the fields to something you have access to. Don't leave it at info@fastwebhost.com or an email address at the domain you 're transferring.
You'll get an email from Fastwebhost at the email address you put in that you need to click a confirmation link in.
Now you wait... keep checking your whois record for your domain at some site like http://whois.domaintools.com/. Wait until your email address has updated there before transferring. Otherwise you may get stuck like I currently am where the new registrar is sending information to an old email address.
Once this is done, proceed:
7. Go back to your domain details in the client area again.
8. Click "Get EPP Code" at the bottom to get your access code to begin the transfer at another registrar.
