Softaculous Upgrades and Backups

Upgrade:

           1)It is always better to have all your CMS scripts, blogs like Joomla, Wordpress etc.; updated to the latest available versions to secure

              your websites from different  security threats like spambots, data injections and mysql injections..etc.;

           2)Normally this can be done automatically from your cpanel --> Softaculous(scripts installer) panel itself.

           3)You can easily upgraded from there with a single click, also you will be having an option of taking backups before you stat your

              upgrade process.

           4)Also you can select auto-upgrade option from softaculous itself while you are installing any script.

           5)Even you can select auto-upgrade option for your Themes and as well as for plugins.

Steps to select Auto-Upgrade

           Goto --> Cpanel --> Software and Services --> Softaculous Apps Installer --> Select the script you want to install
           --> Advanced Options(Here you can see the options for upgrading automatically) and  you can select the list you require.

Backups

         1)All the backups which were taken before upgrade will be stored in the folder
            /home/user/softaculous_backups/

         2)It is suggested to take backups of your accounts before you upgrade anything on your domain and store than in your local PC.
