You may be getting errors while publishing site with MS Front Page due to the following most common reasons. Error 1 - Front Page Extensions not installed on your domain. Answer: Login to your domain control panel and click on "Front Page Extensions" Icon. Then you can un-install or install by just clicking on the link. Error 2 - Front Page Extensions corrupted due to FTP use. Answer: We suggest you never use FTP when Front Page Extesnions are installed on your domain becuase FTP connections kill front page extensions and you need to reinstall FP Extensions again. Error 3 - Publishing site before domain propagation. Answer: You can't publish your site through Front Page when domain is under DNS propagation. You have to use http://www.yourdomain.com while publishing. we do not allow FTP publishing through Front Page. | |

Again, you simply open FrontPage and attempt to connect to the site and after entering the user ID and password the error immediately comes back and you cannot connect. As I noted above yesterday alone I update many sites using the same computer, etc. -- same issue if you attempt to publish to the site - exact same error.
